Drive the direction of future global networks

Interested in exploring the technologies and services that may drive future internets?  The Global Environment for Network Innovations (GENI) creates major opportunities to understand, innovate and transform global networks through at-scale, well-instrumented experiments involving substantial numbers of real users.

GENI opens up new ways for industry and researchers to work together as they create and try out new services and applications that will stimulate economic growth.  At the same time, GENI allows industry to experiment with new technologies and services without impacting their existing offerings. Getting involved with GENI creates an opportunity for industry partners to: gain advantage/market leadership in a competitive global market; create innovations that stimulate growth; and recruit and retain highly skilled employees, while driving the direction of future global networks as well as the worldwide communications enterprise.

Corporations including Arista, AT&T, Battelle, Computer Associates, Ciena, Cisco, CNRI, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Infinera, Jeffrey Hunker Associates, Juniper Networks, Microsoft Research, NEC, Netronome, Nicira, Qwest, Radio Technology Systems, SPARTA are working with GENI academic teams across the United States to help build, integrate and operate early prototypes of GENI.
